The African Center for Community Development distributed 140 bikes, thanks to our partnership with Bike for Kids. It was such a joy to see the excitement and confidence on the faces of the beginner riders as BFK volunteers taught them to ride.

Bikes for Kids helped over 50 students at our school get bikes of their own. They did a great job of working with our school and carefully selecting each bike—all were in great condition! The smiles on their faces were priceless and many have reported back they love having a bike of their own to ride. Bikes for Kids is amazing!

Our Dane County Parks education center the Lussier Family Heritage Center is able to provide our community with Learn to Bike and Biking Adventures due to the generosity of Bikes for Kids. We are grateful for the support to get kids on bikes, learn bike safety, and provide biking access for all youth in Dane County.

We have 9 elementary schools across Sun Prairie and because of BFK we are able to provide bicycles for our students that do not have their own to bring to school. The bikes are the perfect size for our 4th and 5th graders to use safely. Thank you for supporting our bicycle program that provides instruction to approximately 1,000 4th and 5th graders! 

Jamestown Neighborhood of Fitchburg has received the wonderful gift of bikes and helmets. This is more than a gift, it is a means to a joyous childhood and freedom spent with friends. I can’t say enough about BFK and its volunteer mission to build stronger communities through bikes. BFK makes it easy for everyone to make a difference in the communities they live. The many smiles and excitement  of the children and their parents  keeps me energized until next year’s event. BFK Madison is a place for everyone!
