FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Want to receive a bike? View our News page to see who our bike recipient organizations are for the year. Since we give bikes to other 501c3 nonprofit organizations and public schools, you’ll need to register with them. Subscribe to our e-newsletter so you receive the list of recipient organizations when it’s announced each February. Go to the bottom of the website and enter your email to subscribe.

How can I donate a bike? Bring your bike to our shop at 354 Coyier Lane, Madison, WI 53713 and leave it behind the white trailer. Or, enter the building through the blue door and ask one of us to help you bring them in. We accept bikes of all sizes and styles and prefer gently used bikes because they are less costly for us to restore.

How can I help make bicycle based transportation more accessible to all? Volunteering, donating financially, and donating bikes are all needs we have year-round. We are a small organization with a small budget and although bikes are donated to us for free, they are not free for us to fully restore them and tune them up by professionals so they are safe to ride.
