Memberships start at $10 per month.
Bikes for Kids Wisconsin is a nonprofit striving to make bicycle-based transportation accessible for all in Wisconsin. Our funding comes from grants and foundations, donations, service and sales, and through memberships.
Members support us with an annual fee so they have access to a workbench, tools, expertise of professionals, discounts on products, and more. Choose from multiple tiered benefit options. Click the button below to view the full benefits of each tier.
Membership supports the work we do at BFKWI. We empower our members to learn more about bikes and to expand your knowledge and skills in your bicycle journey.
*Note that memberships run on a regular calendar renewal cycle, meaning memberships begin on January 1 and expire on December 31. Memberships can be prorated however so, if you join in July, your membership rate will be adjusted to reflect a partial year membership.

Access to Professional Quality Tools and Supplies
Our bike center is fully equipped with high quality tools and stands from Park Tool. Membership provides you with the option to work in our space to repair your bikes if you don’t have the tools or space to do so at home.
Access to Professional Mechanics
If you’re looking to develop the skills to repair your own bike, members can also receive guidance from our mechanics to help you along. Through our higher level memberships, mechanic-assisted stand time will help get you back in the saddle. We ask that you come with an open mind to learn and take the tools into your own hands. If you don’t have experience or the know-how for bigger repairs, our mechanics are also for hire for an extra cost.
Pre-scheduled Appointments
Book your one-on-one time with a mechanic before arriving to guarantee a spot in our bike center and to guarantee that our mechanics can fit you into their busy schedule.
Discounts
• Members receive shop discounts year-round like 10% off used bikes. You can also receive 10% off all new items with some member tiers. You’ll also be invited to occasional member-only sales & discounts!
Special Orders
Get access to products from our order partners at 10% off MSRP! Looking for a specific seat, tires, accessory, or something else? Enjoy discounts on brand-name items from hundreds of brands. You let us know what you need, we’ll do the shopping and you can pick up your items at the bike center when it arrives. We require payment in advance to place your order.
