Fall Bike Donation Drives on October 12th & November 23rd!

Mendota Elementary kids get bikes

We know better than anyone how hard it can be to dispose of a bike. Not only is it sometimes emotionally hard to give up these old friends but it’s also just not easy to do. They can’t go in the landfill but to recycle them you have to pull off all the non-metal parts which is no easy task. So bring them to us!

As part of our work, we provide a community service free of charge to dispose of your unwanted bicycles. We prefer gently used donations but we have a deep commitment to recycling and seeing that they are properly disposed of.

On Saturday, October 12th and Saturday, November 23rd between 10-2pm, you can bring your unwanted bicycles to 354 Coyier Lane in Madison. We’ll save what we can and we’ll recycle what can’t be saved.

Bikes of all sizes and styles are accepted. We’ll work all winter long refurbishing them then in the spring, we’ll give them to people in need who would otherwise never have the opportunity to discover all the joy a bicycle can bring to our lives.

We accept bike donations all year-long in Madison so you can also donate outside these dates.

Bring them to the bike center at 354 Coyier Lane, Madison, WI 53713. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10-5pm; Friday 10-4pm; Saturday 10-1pm. We are located off the Beltline Highway, take the Rimrock Road exit.

If you have questions, please call 608-405-0385.

If you’d like to support our efforts with a financial donation, we’d greatly appreciate it!
