Informational Webinars for Nonprofits and Public Schools to Become Bike Distribution Partners for 2026
We invite nonprofits and public schools that serve individuals and families with limited financial resources to learn more about becoming Bike Distribution Partners through our Bike Giveaway and Bike to Work Programs. Together, we can help ensure that those who cannot afford bicycles have access to the freedom, opportunity, and transportation that a bike provides.
Three options are available for this 30 minute session.
Monday, July 14 at 1pm
Thursday, August 14 at 1pm
Tuesday, September 16 at 12pm
Each year, Bikes for Kids Wisconsin distributes over 2,000 bikes throughout the State with the partnership of 501c3 nonprofits and public school employees who determine our bike recipients.
Our program has evolved over the years and you are invited to learn how it works, how you can be involved, and what is required from our distribution partners.
We have two programs through which we distribute bikes:
• Bike Giveaway Program – children and adults receive bikes with the support of organizations they receive services from or schools they attend.
• Bike to Work Program – older teens, adults, refugees and immigrants receive bikes to reduce transportation barriers to employment.
Sessions will be held on Zoom. Please RSVP by sending an email to our Executive Director, Kristie GoForth, then you’ll receive the link to the session. The email address is Kristie (at) bikesforkidswi.org.
*Please mention which session you plan to attend. Feel free to email in advance if you have questions or are unsure about your participation.
We will provide an overview of the program, what’s required of our distribution partners, we’ll discuss timing, and how you can choose to receive bikes in the spring. There will be time for questions at the end.
These sessions are open to any employees of nonprofits serving those facing financial hardship or public school employees in the State of Wisconsin. We look forward to seeing you there!
